The advantage of the TEC B-452 desktop printer's flexibility provides a powerful solution for moderate volume tag and label applications. The B-452 comes standard with 2MB of DRAM and Flash ROM that is loaded with fonts, barcodes, and 2-D symbologies. This printer can also be used for stand-alone printing with the optional keyboard. The B-452 has the ability to interface with a host system or scanner via direct connection or networked. In addition, the B-452 can be equipped with a variety of options for the utmost in flexibility over a wide range of office or light manufacturing applications.

The B-452 boasts an extensive list of options including the cutter and strip modules, an external programmable keyboard or external rewinder to name a few. The communication options for networks, parallel and expansion I/O modules allow for easy system integration. The B-452 is a perfect fit for applications where high-end printers are cost prohibitive and low-end printers just cannot handle the job.

Individual motors and control for ribbon and media movement insure reliable printed output time after time. And, TEC backs up its commitment to performance, reliability and value with a warranty above the industry standard. TEC's compact design of the B-452 makes it perfect for the office, retail, warehouse or wherever space is tight.

The B-452 friendliness is built right into all aspects of its design from firmware to hardware. The printer operates under any host system using the simple TPCL language or Windows with the Windows driver for 95, 98, and NT 4.0. The hardware encompasses TEC's standard use of green operator training, along with simple ribbon and media loading. The snap-in printhead design, which is user replaceable, means less down time and more productivity.
