Seagull Scientific's BarTender Automation Edition has all of BarTender's most powerful label design features plus automated control from within other software. It includes numerous software integration tools, such as ActiveX Automation, enterprise messaging and Seagull's own Commander utility for cross-platform integration. The Enterprise Edition delivers powerful data sourcing, including ODBC, OLE-DB, and the industry's only SAP-certified direct IDoc interface. It also supports Oracle XML label requests. It includes Printer Maestro, but it only manages network printers visible to the local PC. The licensing is based on the maximum number of printers to be used by BarTender on the network.
