Easy-to-use, these rugged handheld 2D scanners are omnidirectional, which enables them to quickly capture 1D and 2D barcodes—including postal and stacked codes—from any angle. And, they can do so from distances up to 3.3 feet, depending on the barcode label’s resolution. They also allow users to simply aim the devices at barcodes and pull the trigger to instantly decode the data.
Datalogic furthers the usability of the PowerScan PD9500s with ergonomically comfortable handles, well-balanced weights, and soft white illumination—all of which prevents user fatigue and eye strain during shifts. Their intuitive aiming system also ensures high, first-pass reading rates that significantly boost efficiency in any operations.
Designed to withstand harsh conditions in industrial settings, the PowerScan PD9500s have sealing ratings of IP65, certifying their resistance to liquids and dust. These corded handhelds also withstand multiple drops onto concrete floors from distances of 6.6 feet to protect against repeated shocks both indoors and out.
Datalogic’s exclusive 3-Green Lights (3GL) technology validates accurate scans of 1D and 2D barcodes by shining a Green Spot directly onto scanned objects, while also displaying three Good Read LEDs on the top and back of the scanners. In addition, the PD9500s provide a loud beep so users are confident they captured the information they need.
To accommodate multiple applications, the Datalogic PowerScan PD9500 2D scanners offer two models:
