The Motorola RFS4000 Wireless Controllers from SystemID are ideal for branch offices and remote facilities. The Motorola RFS4000 wireless controller supports up to 24 WLANs. SystemID offers a full line of accessories for the RFS4000 controller including access ports, antennas, and cables.

The RFS4000 has the functionality of several network devices in one unit. It is an 802.11n wireless controller and a wired network switch with 5 POE ports. It can also work as an 802.11n access point. The RFS4000 has IPSEC VPN/firewall/WIPS security, RADIUS & DHCP server, location & RFID engines, 3G failover, and more.

The RFS4000 includes a wireless intrusion detection and protection system (IDS/IPS). This IDS/IPS works with the sensing features of Motorola access points (AP300, AP51x1, and AP-7131) to defend against over-the-air attacks.
