System ID Partners with Motorola to Host Enterprise Mobility and Wireless Technology Road Show in Rio Grande Valley

System ID teamed up with Motorola to host an end-user event at the Motorola Distribution Center in McAllen, Texas. End-users from across the Rio Grande Valley spent the day learning about the latest technology trends in automated data capture and RFID for manufacturing and distribution, as well as the latest productivity tools for logistics transportation, enterprise asset management and operations. Attendees also had an opportunity to tour Motorola's distribution center where they could see the Motorola p roducts in action.

"The response to this event was overwhelming and the feedback has been extremely positive," said Teri Ellis, System ID Product Manager. "The Rio Grande Valley is one of the fastest growing regions in Texas. Under the North American Free Trade Agreement, materials and assembled products flow between the US and Mexico duty-free and tariff-free. Companies in this region are looking for ways to gain real-time visibility of materials and finished goods moving both northbound and southbound," explains Ellis. "System ID has a strong understanding of the special needs and challenges faced by manufacturers, warehouses and transportation companies within this region. I hope the event helped these companies gain some perspective on what is possible in their own plants."
