Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Solutions
System ID Warehouse offers a full range of RFID Compliance Labeling and "Closed Loop" RFID solutions to address our customers’ specific needs.
RFID Compliance Labeling Solutions
RFID Compliance Labeling solutions are the most common projects we are encountering today. In simple terms, compliance labeling is a requirement, from another party such as Wal-Mart, DOD, or Target, to apply RFID enabled labels/tags on materials that you are shipping into their supply chain. In this scenario, the focus of the RFID tags’ use is for the recipient and not for you internally. System ID offers two approaches to RFID Compliance Labeling:
RFID "Slap and Ship" Solutions
This is a more traditional approach to labeling in which you directly manage
the RFID printing, validation and notification processes. Our "Slap and Ship" solutions are
ownership models that require the purchase the RFID software, printer, media and
installation services.
RFID Fulfillment Network™
The RFID Fulfillment Network™ compliance labeling solution is a fixed cost-per-label
cost model from One Network Inc. This RFID solution offers the advantages of no initial
capital outlay and rapid deployment. In this solution, the software hosting, hardware
lease and media costs are built into the per label cost.
RFID "Closed Loop" Solutions
In contrast to RFID compliance labeling, a RFID "Closed Loop" Solution is one in which your internal operations will utilize the RFID technology for your own benefit. The applications to which RFID technology can be applied in a closed loop environment are as varied as the businesses and their practices that wish to implement it, but are typically centered around shipping/receiving, pick verification, asset management, time & attendance or work in process applications. With this wide range of application specific needs, it is highly unlikely that you will find an out-of-the-box RFID solution that does exactly what you require.
