Zebra MT2070 Mobile Computers
Zebra MT2070 mobile computers offer the intelligence of a mobile computer and the simplicity of a barcode scanner to streamline scan-intensive business processes in a wide array of industries, including manufacturing, retail, warehousing, and healthcare.
These handheld mobile terminals operate in two modes: They can be tethered to a point of sale (POS), laptop, or other computing system straight out of the box, or they can stand alone for wireless mobile computing that expedites inventory management and other everyday applications.
Zebra integrated wireless Bluetooth technology into its wireless MT2070 mobile computers. This allows users to correctly capture barcodes up to 300 feet from the host device for added convenience and flexibility. Also contributing to these computers’ usefulness is the ability to transmit data in real-time or batch mode and connect to a wireless LAN or host device. The latest wireless security protocols ensure that data stays safe, so companies can comply with PCI and other government regulations.
Advanced data capture technologies, along with an omnidirectional scan engine, promise “first-read” reliability by aggressively capturing 1D and 2D barcodes, including those of poor quality and ones that are damaged and dirty. They also enable the imaging of signatures, photos, and videos for proof of delivery or service and evidence of damaged goods.
To ensure lasting performance, Motorola Symbol designed the MT2070s to withstand multiple drops onto concrete from distances up to 6 feet. It also labeled them with IP54 sealing ratings, signifying their resistance to liquids and dust. FIPS 140-2 certification enables compliance with stringent industry security regulations, such as HIPAA, PCI, and government-sensitive applications.
